Having over 12 years of experience as an Esthetician, Missy decided to live her dream and open “The Skin & Body Spa” in July 2008. After High School, she attended The University of Rhode Island and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Textiles, Merchandising and Design. She then pursued a career in the garment industry in New York City. Years later, she realized her passion for Esthetics and decided to enroll at The Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics where she graduated with a certificate in Advanced Esthetics. Missy continues to attend workshops and seminars to stay current with advances in the industry.

As an ingredient expert, she is dedicated to holistic dermo-corrective skin care. She has successfully treated clients with acne, rosacea and aging issues. Missy is truly dedicated to providing exceptional skin care in an environment that is relaxed, nurturing, stress free and comfortable for her clients.

Brenda began her career as a professional dance instructor teaching both children’s classes as well as American Style Ballroom and Latin dance. She has always had a passion for esthetics and in the summer of 2005 decided to make a lifelong dream come true. She attended the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics where she received her license to practice Esthetics and Make-up.  Brenda continues her education by attending classes and seminars in the industry. Suffering from Rosacea herself, Brenda is passionate about helping clients with this unfortunate skin disorder. Brenda’s services include facials, waxing and make-up artistry.

Melissa is a graduate of the Advanced Esthetics program at the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics. With nearly 10 years in the industry, she has participated in continuing education in various parts of the USA, as well as internationally. Melissa has experience in the Ayurveda and Chinese philosophies, and has a passion for nurturing not only the skin, but also the mind, body and soul. She treats each client with respect for the unique individual they are and will work closely with you to address all of your skincare, hair removal, and make up concerns.

A graduate of Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics, the art and science of Skin Care and Makeup Artistry have been passions of Jane’s for more than a decade. Her approach to skin care includes holistic and scientific therapies and as a former Aesthetic Instructor, skin care Salon Owner and Clinical Aesthetician she has enjoyed a variety of outlets for treating all ages and skin conditions. Jain has been an esthetician since 1993.

Ashley is a graduate of The Catherine Hinds Institute with a certificate in Medical Esthetics. She also continues her studies by attending skin care classes and seminars to stay current. Her mom is a Massage Therapist so Ashley grew up in the spa atmosphere and always dreamed of working in a spa. She enjoys making people feel good and confident about themselves. She loves seeing improvements in client’s skin by helping them with facial treatments or a new makeup routine.

Danielle is a graduate from the Laird Institute of Spa Therapy in Advanced Esthetics. One of her favorite parts of being an Esthetician is taking the time to shape each clients unique eyebrow shape and also helping clients learn how certain make-up can not only be healthy for their skin, but leave it looking flawless. Having suffered from Adult Cystic Acne, Danielle knows how your skin can condition can truly effect your every day attitude! Danielle is very passionate about helping every client in addressing their skin care issues and concerns and helping them reveal their true healthy beautiful skin.

Danielle graduated with a certificate in Massage Therapy from Nashua Community College in 2008. Danielle’s approach to massage is to help the client have a clear connection to their mind and body. To bring an understanding on how to further relax and heal through self education and awareness and to correct what may be causing any discomfort within the body. Danielle also continues to broaden her health and wellness education by attending courses throughout the year to keep up to date on newer techniques and maintain her level of expertise on massage styles. She is proficient in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Pre-Natal, Lomi Lomi, Reflexology, Sports, and Hot Stone Massage.

Nancy graduated from the Dovestar School of Holistic Health and has over eight years of massage experience. Nancy has worked in many chiropractors offices and an Aveda concept spa.She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Body Polish and Pre-Natal massages.

She also holds a masters degree in Human Services and has always wanted to help people heal both emotionally and physically.

Renée Perkins graduated from Hunter College in New York City with a degree in Physical Therapy. Renée moved from New York to New Hampshire with her family in 1996. While still a practicing physical therapist,Renée decided to broaden her skill base and studied massage therapy at North Eastern Institute of Whole Health.

Renée is a practicing physical therapist and a licensed massage therapist.

Lisa has always had a passion for massage, but wasn’t able to fulfill her dream of leaving the corporate world and becoming a massage therapist until 2007 shen she graduated from the Seacoast Career School. She firmly believes that massage therapy helps the body be at it’s best. Before becoming a massage therapist she had been amazed how massage was able to aid in the recovery of a car accident she was in. Lisa also has a background in body building and mixed martial arts. Her specialties are Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Sports, Pre-Natal and Swedish Massage. Lisa is a very nurturing person that loves to help her clients achieve their goals.

Leslie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Certificate in Massage Therapy from New Hampshire Community Technical College in 2007. Her continuing education courses have focused on Myofacial Release Mobilization and Sports Massage Therapy.

She became a Reiki Practitioner under the guidance of John and Lourdes Gray at the center of Reiki Healing in Rindge, NH in 2006. Leslie has been actively providing bodywork since 2005 to meet client needs for relaxation, stress, and pain management; specializing in deep tissue massage that offers pain relief and sedative qualities for self healing. Each massage is custom designed to provide a well balanced session and committed to the highest level of professionalism, quality, and genuine interest in your well being.

My leisure pursuits include outdoor activities with my children, traveling, and photograpy. I am an avid hiker and currently working on completing the NH 48– 4,000 footer list!

“Melissa graduated from the North Eastern Institute of Whole Health in 2004, and obtained her New Hampshire license and National Certification in 2005. Melissa is a southern New Hampshire native and her passion for bodywork began in 5th grade when she did a speech on reflexology. She attended and graduated from New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts in 2006 where she studied various styles of massage including Swedish, Reflexology, Hydrotherapy, Neuromuscular, Circulatory, Lymphatic, Sport, Eastern and Trigger Point Therapies.

She has completed continuing education courses in orthopedic massage, trigger point, relieving sciatica headache and neck pain, kinesio taping for injuries, sports massage. . She specializes in sports, deep tissue, and injury rehabilitation types of massages.

She attended and graduated from Salem State College. Her professional memberships include the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) , the National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB), and the Gamma Theta Upsilon International Geographical Honor Society.

Candace attended Bedford School of Nail Design where she graduated with a certificate in Advanced Nail Technology. With over 5 years of experience, she truly enjoys pampering her clients and making them feel relaxed and refreshed! Although her true passion is being a mom to her one-year old son, she enjoys having some adult time and socializing with her clients. Candace is always interested in the new and advanced trends the nail world has to offer. Currently enrolled at Nashua Community College, Candace is pursuing her certification in Medical Coding which she plans to complete in May 2001. In addition, Candace specialized in children’s photography known as matteCphotography.

Quyen came to The United States from the tropical country of Vietnam in 2004. She has worked as a Nail Technician since her arrival and prides herself in her attention to detail. She is now following her dream of becoming a nurse and is currently attending nursing school.  She really enjoys her work and making others feel and look great!

April Adams has nearly fifteen years of experience in the spa industry. Her resume includes skin, body and nail care, but her favorite service to give or receive is a pedicure! Her passions include performing (singing, dancing and acting), fashion, her family and playing in waterfalls. She is a fun loving nurturer who blends great conversation with relaxing decadent services. She takes the natural approach to everything she possibly can, especially nail care. Maureen comes to The Skin & Body spa with previous experience as a Spa Coordinator. Her goal is for our clients to have a pleasant experience from the moment they pick up the phone to make their appointment to the time they leave their appointment. Maureen graduated from The University of New Hampshire with a degree in  Animal Science .  She worked as a veterinary technician for 7 years before settling down to have a family.

Maureen also owns her own business in event planning called “Leave It To Me”. She specializes in small events that are custom designed to fit each unique client’s needs.
